A tactile exploration of galaxy shapes and colours: Join visually impaired astronomer Dr Nic Bonne and learn about our Milky Way and other galaxies, using tactile astronomical images developed by the Tactile Universe project. You'll get to make your own model of our galaxy the Milky Way, and explore how astronomers use the shapes and colours of different galaxies to understand the Universe.
Recommended for ages 9-14. All children must be supervised by a responsible adult throughout the workshop.
Located in the Space Pavillion.
